Betty Oliphant Theatre

Designed by Jack Diamond, one of Canada's premier architects,The
Betty Oliphant Theatre, opened in 1989 behind the façade of
two Victorian homes, and is named for the School's founder - Betty
Oliphant.
Located at 404 Jarvis Street, the Theatre serves many
School and community-based functions. As a training facility, the stage
enables NBS students to become comfortable training and performing
on-stage without the use of mirrors, and allows for the transition
from studio to stage. As a community-based resource, the 297 seat
Theatre provides a professional setting for dance and theatre productions
with state-of-the-art sound and light systems.
