Performance and Events

NBS students have performed in the School's own national tours, as guests of the Hamburg and Stuttgart ballet schools, and schools across Canada. In May 1999 NBS made its French debut as the first North American institution invited to the Paris Conservatoire. NBS students have also appeared with the Canadian Opera Company, the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra, at the Governor General's Performing Arts Awards, and with the National Ballet of Canada in Canada, Europe and Japan. NBS also presents an annual Spring Showcase which "has become in its own right something not to be missed" (GLOBE AND MAIL, Toronto).
